We had the good fortune of connecting with Carolina Gutierrez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi CAROLINA, what is the most important factor behind your success?
we specialize in custom projects and unique designs tailored to each client’s vision. Every solution is created based on the integration of the interior design concept of the space, incorporating all the specific components required by wine connoisseurs.
We believe there are no limits to design options. Everything is possible. Our focus is on delivering a work of art that seamlessly translates into a functional wine storage solution.
When we can’t find what’s available in the market, we go beyond by manufacturing special structures to bring the project’s design vision to life.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Thank you for asking! In addition to our custom wine cellar business ” Cellartus” , I also own an interior design company ” Kala art & Design Studio” where we focus on creating spaces that are both functional and visually striking. We specialize in bespoke design solutions—whether it’s designing a custom wine cellar, curating the perfect living space, or transforming a room into a work of art, we take a holistic approach to every project.
What sets us apart is our ability to merge creativity with craftsmanship in both the wine cellar and interior design worlds. We take the time to really understand our clients’ vision, lifestyle, and needs, which allows us to create personalized designs that are both beautiful and functional. Whether it’s blending architectural details with modern aesthetics or creating a space that celebrates a client’s unique taste, we are proud to deliver projects that reflect the individual story behind each space.
What excites me most is the opportunity to create environments that inspire and enhance the daily lives of our clients. From a custom wine cellar that becomes the heart of a home, to a thoughtfully designed living room that brings people together, we’re passionate about making design an experience.
The journey to where we are today has been challenging, but also incredibly rewarding. There were times when we faced obstacles—whether it was sourcing materials, navigating market trends, or refining our design process—but we’ve always been driven by the desire to create spaces that truly stand out. Our success has come from building strong relationships, staying focused on quality, and continuously learning along the way.
What I want the world to know about us is that we are not just about designing beautiful spaces; we are about designing experiences that elevate how people live, entertain, and enjoy the world around them. Whether it’s a custom wine cellar or a full-scale interior design project, we believe every space has the potential to tell a unique, personal story.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d love to dedicate my shoutout to my parents. Growing up, I was constantly surrounded by creativity—whether it was renovating homes, art painting, or bringing new ideas to life. Their artistic background and the work ethic they instilled in me had such a big influence on who I am today. They taught me not just the skills, but the importance of seeing beauty in the everyday and pushing boundaries. Their support, guidance, and love gave me the foundation I needed to pursue my own creative journey. I’m so grateful for all the lessons they’ve passed down to me.
